Czech military equipment manufacturer Excalibur Army is showing off its new MORANA 8×8 SPH and TREVA-30 tactical recovery vehicles for the first time at Eurosatory.

The 2022 European International Trade Exhibition for Defense Technology and Military Vehicles takes place in Paris from June 13th to 17th. EXCALIBUR ARMY showcases two new products in its world premiere.

The first is the prototype of the new concept self-propelled wheeled howitzer MORANA. This modern artillery system on the Tatra Force 8×8 chassis has a 155 mm cannon with a barrel length of 52 caliber, mounted in an armored rotating turret. It is a fully automatic artillery system fully compliant with NATO standards and allows efficient target shooting thanks to modern electronic systems and main weapon performance. The new howitzer has a modular structure, and the turret with weapons and ammunition can be installed on various chassis, including tracked.

Another world premiere is the tactical rescue and evacuation vehicle TREVA-30, also built on the Tatra Force 8×8 chassis. Conceptually and generationally it is a completely new rescue and recovery wheeled system of Czech origin. The vehicle is equipped with a winch with a lifting capacity of 25 tons and a two-winch crane with a lifting capacity of 30 tons. It uses hydraulic forks mounted on the rear of the vehicle to move cars, armored wheeled vehicles and other equipment. The vehicle features an armored four-door cab that accommodates not only the driver and operator, but also the occupants of the towed vehicle.

EXCALIBUR ARMY A novelty at the exhibition is also the Karancho mounting system designed for the heavy machine gun KPVT of 14.5 mm caliber.
