When the date on Table A is advanced to the applicant’s priority date, if the investor is outside the United States and the I-526 has been approved, he or she will receive an interview arrangement notice from the consulate; if the investor is in the United States, he or she can submit the I-485 status change application in the United States.

After the State Department releases the schedule, the USCIS will usually state within a few days whether Form B will be available this month. If you adjust your status in the United States, Form B has been scheduled, and the Immigration Service has stated that Form B can be used in your category that month, then you can submit Form I-485 to adjust your status.
