The purpose of this announcement is to notify all universities that the Malaysian Immigration Bureau will stop accepting eVAL extension requests from December 31, 2022.
Therefore, all universities must ensure that all international students must submit necessary eVAL extension applications through the EMGS STARS system before December 16, 2022. Ensure that all eVAL extension applications can be submitted and processed by the Immigration Bureau by December 31, 2022. (If students who have expired EVal want to postpone the EVal, it is recommended that you contact the school before December 10 to apply for the Eval extension. From December 17, 2022, Malaysian universities will no longer be able to apply for eVAL extensions for international students through the STARS system.
If the eVAL visa approval letter for international students has expired, they need to reapply and obtain a new eVAL. Note:
Please note that it is necessary to ensure that the eVAL approved by the Malaysian Immigration Agency is cancelled before submitting a new EVAL application. In other words, you must first cancel the visa before you can apply for a new Eval visa approval letter.
