The US State Department announced this week the green card immigration schedule for December 2022. For applicants born in mainland China, there is no schedule for new EB-1 and EB-5 reserved for rural areas, highly unemployed areas, infrastructure projects and F2A categories.
Most of the other relatives and professional immigrants have stagnated, among which EB3 (technical professional labor) approval and delivery have been slightly promoted, while non-technical approval has made significant progress.

According to the latest schedule, the occupational immigration form for applicants born in mainland China (Final Action Date):
EB-1: There is no need to schedule;
EB-2: The schedule continues to stay on June 8, 2019;
EB-3: The schedule is 47 days ahead to August 1, 2018, Other Workers scheduled to go forward 203 days to June 22, 2013;
EB-4: There is a schedule for immigration to religious people, and the schedule is June 22, 2022;
EB-5: The regional center schedule will continue to stay on March 22, 2015, and the direct investment project schedule will continue to stay on March 22, 2015; the newly added EB-5 reserved for rural, highly unemployed areas and infrastructure project categories, and there is no need to schedule.

According to the latest schedule, the occupational immigration table for applicants born in mainland China B:
EB-1: There is no need to schedule;
EB-2: The schedule continues to stay on July 8, 2019;
EB-3: The schedule advances to schedule 48 days to September 1, 2018, Other Workers schedule continues to stay on November 1, 2015;
EB-4: There is a schedule for immigration to religious people, and the schedule is July 22, 2022;
EB-5: The schedule for regional center schedule continues to stay on January 1, 2016, and the schedule for direct investment projects continues to stay on January 1, 2016; the newly added EB-5 reserved for rural, highly unemployed areas and infrastructure projects, and there is no need to schedule.

Although the current immigration visa processing level of US embassies and consulates abroad has basically returned to the pre-epidemic level, , the official still estimates that there are about 57,000 quotas for the relative immigration green card in the 2022 fiscal year, which may not be used up. Therefore, the green card quotas for these relative immigrants who have not exhausted their green card will be allocated to the 2023 professional immigration green card application for the 2023 fiscal year. In this way, the total number of quotas for the 2023 US professional immigration green card will increase to about 197,000.
In addition, the US State Department predicts that given the current surge in the number of EB-1 applications in India and China, it is expected that EB-1 applications in India and China will be scheduled in the next few months!
