U.S. Investment Immigration EB-5 Program is an immigration visa category established in the US immigration law for overseas investment immigrants. It is the fifth category of employment-based immigration category in the United States. This type of visa has been implemented since 1991. It includes direct investment in the United States and "TEA Target Employment Zone" through regional centers to participate in "indirect investment" of large-scale projects. It requires investment at least US$800,000 within the TEA pilot area and at least US$1.05 million outside the TEA pilot area. In addition, at least 10 job opportunities are needed for the United States.
Application conditions (choose one of two)
U.S. EB5 - Direct immigration
1. The main applicant, spouse and unmarried children under the age of 21 can apply at the same time.
2. Invest 800,000 or 1.05 million US dollars in the United States (C5/T5/other regions), set up a company, operate and manage it on its own, and create at least 10 direct full-time positions within two years of a temporary green card.
3. Prove the legal source of investment funds of 800,000 or 1.05 million US dollars to the Immigration Bureau.
4. No infectious diseases.
5. No criminal record.
US EB5 - Regional Center Project
1. The main applicant, spouse and unmarried children under the age of 21 can apply at the same time.
2. Invest US$800,000 (TEA) in investment projects at regional centers (I5 and R5) approved by the US Immigration Bureau, directly or indirectly create 10 jobs, and the principal will be returned after 5 years.
3. Prove the legal source of the US$800,000 investment to the Immigration Bureau.
4. No infectious diseases.
5. No criminal record.
