According to Taiwan media reports, Taiwan's "nine-in-one" election will vote on November 26. The "Election Association" recently announced that in accordance with the guidance of May last year, confirmed cases are not allowed to go out to vote. "Legislator" Wang Wanyu asked the Legislative Yuan General inquiry today whether the Executive Yuan had set the tone. "Premier" Su Zhenchang said that he could vote as long as he could go out, but if the confirmed case was to go out to vote, he would have to prepare another set of invoices and the person who issued the invoice.
Wang Wanyu said that Taiwan wants to enter coexistence, although it cannot relax, it should seek a balance between the two. Voting is the basic right of the people, and the " Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Law " is not a heavenly rule.
Wang Wanyu pointed out that based on the current number of confirmed cases every day, there will be 200,000 to 300,000 people in Taiwan in quarantine and their voting rights will be confiscated. Has the Executive Yuan finalized the confiscation of their voting rights or is it being evaluated? The previous examinations have made adjustments to confirmed cases, so why can’t the vote be done?
Su Zhenchang responded that it is stipulated by the "Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Law" for public interests, so it is not confiscated voting.
Su Zhenchang pointed out that voting is different from exams. Everyone has the same test paper, but everyone who votes are different. If you want to let the confirmed person go out to vote, you need to prepare another set of invoices and the person who issue the invoice, "Unless the 'commissioner', you can invent a set of (methods)."
