Recently, with the approval of the Anhui Provincial Supervision Commission and the Suzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Suzhou Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision filed a case for serious violations of discipline and law by Li Zhongqi, former member of the Party Committee, deputy director and second-level senior police officer of the Suzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau.
After investigation, Li Zhongqi, as a party member leading cadre, lost his ideals and beliefs, was indifferent to the discipline and law, was disloyal and dishonest to the party, and opposed organizational review; ignored the spirit of the Central Eight Regulations and accepted gifts and money in violation of regulations; used his power to seek personnel benefits for many people; did not distinguish between closeness and integrity, borrowed money from management service objects and obtained large returns through private lending; increased project volume and project changes in violation of regulations; was willing to be "hunting", engaged in power-for-money transactions; embezzled public property.
Li Zhongqi seriously violated the Party’s political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, and work discipline, constituted serious violations of duty, and was suspected of bribery and embezzlement. He did not restrain himself, stop, or stop after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China or even the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The nature is bad and the circumstances are serious, and should be dealt with seriously. In accordance with the "Regulations on Disciplinary Punishment of the Communist Party of China", "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China", "Administrative Punishment Law of the People's Republic of China" and other relevant regulations, after research and approval by the Standing Committee of the Suzhou Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China and submitted to the Suzhou Municipal Party Committee for approval, it was decided to expel Li Zhongqi from the Party; the Suzhou Municipal Supervision Commission will expel him from public office; confiscate his illegal gains; transfer his suspected criminal issues to the procuratorate for review and prosecution in accordance with the law, and transfer the property involved together.
