LPR The situation on the front continues to develop rapidly. News about the liberation of the city of Severodonetsk by Allied forces has been confirmed.
Chechnya Presidential Assistant Apti Alaudinov said that the residential areas of the city were completely controlled by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the NM of the LPR on May 28.
Currently, cleaning and demining work in residential areas of Severodonetsk is being completed. As of yesterday evening, approximately 70% of said territory had been cleared.
Recall that the Severodonetsk-Lysichansk cluster is essentially the last stronghold of the national battalions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and LPR on the territory of the LPR. Its liberation would mark the full restoration of the territorial integrity of the recognized republic.
Meanwhile, according to Alaudinov, this may happen in the near future. An assistant to the Chechen chief said coalition forces were preparing to attack Lisichansk. The general noted that capturing the city would most likely not take a day or two, but he was sure it would happen in the near future.
It should be noted that Ukrainian military morale in this area is extremely low. There have been numerous reports that soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces violated their command orders.
Apparently, the reason was that the Severodonetsk-Lisichansk group was surrounded. At the same time, after the events in Mariupol, the Ukrainian military knew that no one would come to their aid.
