After the death of Goo Hara, his brother Koo-in inherited the estate of Goo Hara that should have been inherited by his father. But when Goo Hara's mother who ran away from home suddenly appeared when she was 9 years old, she filed a lawsuit in the court to divide Goo Hara's property in half.
After that, Goo Hara’s elder brother Goo Ho-in applied to the Korean National Assembly, requesting the Korean National Assembly to legislate that the child must not be allowed to run away from home when he was a child and the mother who voluntarily gave up the duty of raising to inherit Property of the deceased child.

Gu Haoren said when she walked out of the court that her sister had contacted her mother after her death, but her mother had sent a lawyer to ask for the division of her sister’s estate.
In order to find out the facts, the judge also asked the parents of other members of the KARA girl group KARA to appear in court. In the next court hearing scheduled for next month, the judge asked Goo Hola's mother to appear in court for questioning.
