"Currently, our Shancheng Subdistrict Community Health Service Center has 117 staff members, serving nearly 100,000 people in the subdistrict area. Resident health records establishment, family doctor signing, free health examinations for the elderly, free " two cancer screenings " for women of appropriate age, children Various tasks such as children's health management have exceeded the national target value." Yu Xuekun also introduced that during the epidemic prevention and control period, the Shancheng Street Community Health Service Center cooperated with the street to complete epidemic prevention work such as vaccination and nucleic acid testing, and became a mass health service institution integrating "preventive health care, health education, medical rehabilitation" and other functions.
Yu Xuekun said that at the current critical moment of national epidemic prevention, the fever clinic of the Shancheng Street Community Health Service Center has become the "front line" to stop the new coronavirus infection. In order to meet the medical needs of the people within its jurisdiction, the Shancheng Street Community Health Service Center overcame various difficulties and upgraded the fever clinic in just three days. It set up a closed-loop fever ward with 20 wards and 40 beds, and deployed 36 medical staff to take turns to work 24 hours a day to stay on the front line of "anti-epidemic". Since the fever clinic opened on December 19, more than 100 people have been seeking treatment every day. Recently, the Shancheng Street Community Health Service Center also turned 4,350 tablets of ibuprofen and other medical supplies into 1,070 charity relief packages, which were distributed free of charge to the elderly with key chronic diseases over the age of 65 in the jurisdiction.
"As a deputy to the National People's Congress and a worker in a grassroots health service center, I have the responsibility and obligation to share the government's worries and reduce the medical burden on the people." Yu Xuekun said that in the next step, he will continue to strengthen the study of medical business and epidemic prevention and control knowledge, strive to improve his medical business level, carefully sum up experience, always think about the people's thoughts and urgent needs, better provide medical and health services to the grassroots people, and be a "guardian" of the people's health.
