In terms of waterway defense, four inter-provincial and municipal water joint inspection stations have been built; the national strategy of "Great Protection of the Yangtze River" has been conscientiously implemented, five regional joint service command centers have been built and strengthened, and the water joint action team has been enlarged to coordinate the promotion of water area crackdowns and punishments, water area security prevention and control, and comprehensive law enforcement management to ensure the security and safety of Suzhou's water areas.

However, social forces come from a wide range of sources and are dispersed. How can we "make a fist with one finger"? Building a professional team and making it a "new force" in strengthening public security prevention and control in Suzhou is a solution to the problem.To this end, the Suzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau has taken the lead in establishing a blue shield volunteer team covering the whole city, focusing on joint public security prevention, joint traffic management, garden protection, and neighborhood watch, and innovatively created mass prevention and treatment brands such as the "Blue Shield Nursing" in the park, the "Blue Shield Action Team" in Wuzhong, and the "Blue Shield Volunteer Home" in the rail transit. At present, the city's Blue Shield volunteer team has reached 1.7 million people, and has carried out a total of 150,000 activities such as security patrols, traffic services, grid management, and prevention publicity, and participated in resolving more than 75,000 conflicts and disputes.
Public security organs at all levels in Suzhou have always been thinking about how to make grassroots organizations stronger, comprehensive grid management more practical, basic work quality better, and comprehensively improve the quality of grassroots social governance work. The Suzhou Public Security Bureau treats cases according to syndrome differentiation and promotes the "dual-network integration" of the police grid, solidly promoting the integration of resources in the grid, the concentration of elements in the grid, the provision of services in the grid, and the solution of problems in the grid. The traffic violation rate of food delivery riders dropped by 39.6%. We guided the establishment of a network security alliance, a security industry party-building alliance, etc., and organized and participated in joint logistics and joint defense, voluntary patrols, and emergency response work. At present, the city has established 1,631 joint security and joint defense teams of various types, which have provided more than 7,800 clues to solve crimes and assisted in the arrest of 1,573 suspects.

In recent years, Suzhou has carefully crafted an urban integrated intelligent prevention and control platform, built a variety of application models such as collision comparison, in-depth mining and intelligent research and judgment, and carried out precise drip irrigation of actual prevention and control services. At the same time, it has comprehensively and iteratively upgraded the public security data empowerment platform, continuously optimized the three-level practical functions of the municipal bureau, county branch bureau, and police station, innovatively created 141 application scenarios and 480 mechanism strategies, and continued to launch a number of "small and fast" application tools such as Su Eju, IoT ETC, and delivery OCR to intensively empower and accurately support various public security prevention and control and people's livelihood services.

Focusing on the " Yangtze River Delta Integration", public security agencies at all levels in Suzhou have fully implemented the "Embrace Plan" for Yangtze River Delta regional police integration, deepened police cooperation with public security agencies in Shanghai, Zhejiang, Anhui and other places, and actively integrated into the "Shanghai-Suzhou Integration" and "Suzhou-Wuxi Changtong" regional collaboration.
At present, 69 public security government services have been implemented in the Yangtze River Delta; Suzhou and Shanghai public security agencies pioneered the "one point and two inspections" normal inspection and control service model at the Jiatai Public Security Inspection Station; Wujiang District implemented a regional police cooperation embrace plan to create a "Qing Wu Jia", environmental Taihu police integrated cooperation brand; Kunshan , Taicang and Shanghai Jiading, Qingpu , Baoshan and other places have established working mechanisms for information exchange, emergency response, and regional linkage.
