On December 8, a Chinese tourist was found dead in Phuket . According to Phuket News, the 46-year-old Chinese woman was found hanging from a durian tree in the Sakhu district of Phuket.
Local woman Churaiwan Lengyi told Thai police that she found the body of the Chinese woman while she was out to collect the clothes she had dried. She immediately notified the village chief, who then notified the police.
Rescue personnel arrived at the scene behind a house and found that the woman was dead and hung on a durian branch with a white cloth.
According to preliminary investigation, the deceased has been living in a nearby hotel. Hotel staff told police that they last saw her in the early hours of Tuesday (December 6).
