On November 1, An Jie (pseudonym), a college classmate of the victims of Ningbo , told reporters that the girl died was his undergraduate classmate, from Cixi, Ningbo, Zhejiang. She is a senior this year and is studying business at Shiming University in Techeon City, North Chungcheong Province, South Korea, and graduated next summer. The domestic universities they studied have cooperative education projects with many Korean universities. They studied in China in the first two years and could study in Korean universities in their junior year.
An Jie recalled that on the day of the incident, the girl who died told him that she would come to Seoul from the local area ( Chungcheongbukdo ) to play on the weekend, and planned to go to Itaewon or other places, but she had not decided yet. On the night of the accident, An Jie contacted her with other classmates, but there was no news. Until the next day, Anjie saw the official notice issued by Shiming University that she was on the list of victims. An Jie couldn't hide his sadness when talking about the girl he died. "She is a quiet and quiet girl, and she usually talks less."
Another Ningbo victim is the son of a retired and re-employed teacher in a local middle school. A student studying in the middle school told reporters, "The teacher was still in class last Friday, and he started taking leave this Monday (October 31), and has gone to South Korea. Her son is studying for a graduate degree in Seoul and was originally scheduled to return to China this year."
