In order to thoroughly implement the "Shanghai Intellectual Property Strong City Construction Outline (2021-2035)" and "Shanghai Intellectual Property Protection and Application "14th Five-Year Plan", consolidate the construction of a national demonstration urban area for the construction of a strong intellectual property city, build a cross-departmental intellectual property protection coordination and linkage mechanism, and explore new measures to jointly protect intellectual property rights at multiple levels. On October 27, Minhang District grandly held the 2022 intellectual property rights protection and protection exchange activity. Gu Huirong, director of the Intellectual Property Protection Department of Shanghai Intellectual Property Bureau, and Li Lijun, member of the Party Leadership Group and deputy director of the Minhang District Market Supervision Administration, attended the event.
This activity is themed "Coordinated Protection of Intellectual Property and Promote the Construction of a Strong City". Minhang District's intellectual property administrative law enforcement personnel, judges, prosecutors, copyright managers, appraisal experts, lawyers, etc. were invited to visit the scene in person. We will discuss and exchange hot and difficult issues in intellectual property rights protection from multiple dimensions and perspectives; we will promote, implement and interpret the measures for the protection of intellectual property rights in various departments; open up the full-chain protection of intellectual property rights to empower enterprises, create a first-class business environment, and promote high-quality development of the regional economy.
In order to strengthen intellectual property protection and stimulate innovation and creativity to create a better propaganda and public opinion atmosphere, the Minhang District Intellectual Property Office actively explores the " Internet + " intellectual property publicity model, and jointly creates and releases the "Iron Fist in Action" intellectual property series micro dramas. The entire drama is written, created and performed by law enforcement personnel of the Minhang District Intellectual Property Office, fully demonstrating to the public the new measures and new achievements in intellectual property administrative protection work in the new era. The best drama, the most potential award, the best performance award, the most popular award, the intellectual property advocacy ambassador and the intellectual property law enforcement pioneer were selected on site. Li Lijun, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of Minhang District Market Supervision Administration, presented awards to the winners.
At the same time, in order to accelerate the construction of a working pattern of "strict protection, large protection, fast protection, and joint protection" for intellectual property rights, Minhang District strives to build an intellectual property administrative law enforcement team that administers according to law, acts actively and has excellent quality. They continue to strengthen new ideas and measures for intellectual property protection, continuously improve the quality of case handling and law enforcement efficiency, and protect the creation of a highland for intellectual property protection and a first-class business environment. Six typical cases of intellectual property administrative law enforcement in Minhang District in 2022 were selected at the event, and Gu Huirong, director of the Intellectual Property Protection Department of Shanghai Intellectual Property Bureau, presented awards to the winning representatives.
In order to improve the ability to prevent and resolve intellectual property disputes and better serve the intellectual property protection needs of the public and innovative entities, Minhang District has established an intellectual property mediation volunteer team, which is spontaneously composed of member institutions of the Minhang District Intellectual Property Association’s special committee. He Gang, head of the intellectual property trial team of Minhang District People's Court, issued a certificate to the representatives of the volunteer team. The intellectual property mediation volunteer team will play their professional expertise in the comprehensive management and linkage protection of intellectual property in Minhang District.
At present, my country has entered a new stage of comprehensively building a modern socialist country, and the role of intellectual property rights as a strategic resource for national development and core elements of international competitiveness is more prominent. Minhang District will continue to build a national intellectual property-strong city with high standards as its focus on high-quality development, high-level protection, high-efficiency application, high-quality service and high-efficiency management, and continuously improve the comprehensive governance capabilities of intellectual property and the level of public services, and effectively play a demonstration and leading role, providing strong support for serving regional innovation-driven development and deepening the construction of a strong city with strong intellectual property.
