In 2013, Shandong developed and utilized the Shandong Province copyright protection and service platform, realizing the transformation from paper-based work registration to electronic informationization, laying a solid foundation for copyright registration and protection and utilization in the province. In recent years, Shandong has continuously improved the level of copyright social services, further improved the copyright registration service network system of various cities and key parks (bases), and vigorously strengthened the management and services of copyright service workstations. The standardization, standardization and informatization of copyright registration work has been continuously improved, and the quality of work registration has steadily increased. In 2021, 230,000 copyrighted works were registered in the province.

The platform has newly established database search, query, comparison and other functions. After the work is registered on the platform, a QR code can be obtained. In the future, the right holder does not need to run errands to issue a certificate. He only needs to scan the code to query the key information of the copyright, which facilitates the right holder to pledge and transfer the copyright. It is also conducive to rights protection when copyright is infringed. The third is expansion. It has realized the optimization development of software architecture, hardware expansion and configuration, and data security prevention and control, completed the acceptance of historical data of old platforms, and can support the registration and archiving of more than one million works every year. These functions will greatly facilitate rights holders to dispose of copyright rights and promote the active copyright transactions and the development of copyright industry in the province.
