During the holidays, the Municipal Water Quality Supervision Station resolutely implements the important instructions of the Party Central Committee on "the epidemic must be prevented, the economy must be stabilized, and development must be safe", tightens and consolidates the supervision responsibilities of the water engineering construction field, and always ensures that no less than 2-3 supervision groups carry out project inspections every day, and do their best to protect safety and stability.
"We will not rest when the project does not stop working." For all the supervision engineers of the quality supervision station, it is common for them to be on duty during holidays. At 8 a.m., after the supervision engineer Gui Shunfeng settled his family, he hurriedly drove to the site of the first phase of the comprehensive management of the Zhaosihe basin to conduct construction inspections on the project. "Our main work is to conduct regular supervision and inspection of the water supply and drainage projects under construction in the city to ensure that the safety, quality, construction, epidemic prevention and control of the project are normal. There is no trivial matter in the water project. Whether it is on holiday or not, we must check it at the site."

The first phase of the comprehensive governance project of the Xunsi River Basin was started in March 2021. As one of the key projects of water environment governance of the "Three Lakes and Three Rivers", it mainly includes three parts: the first rain collection pipeline project, the storage tank project, and the tail water discharge pipeline project. After completion, it can alleviate the overflow pollution problem of dry season in Wuhan Xunsi River Direct Discharge Area (Nanhu Garden Area) and the pollution problem of rainwater in early , and at the same time it can greatly improve the water environment of Xunsi River. At present, the project is about to enter the bottom plate pouring stage.
"The scale of the storage pool of this project is 120,000 cubic meters. It is built in a full underground form. It has extremely high requirements for the airtightness and waterproofness of the space. The quality of the bottom plate pouring is related to whether the rainwater in the pool will leak in the future. The project is currently making preliminary preparations for pouring." Gui Shunfeng, who came to the scene, did not bother to hold an umbrella. After getting off the car and asked the on-site person in charge about the project situation, he then wore a safety helmet and ran towards the deep foundation pit.
At the project site, Gui Shunfeng walked and watched while walking in the foundation pit at a depth of 20 meters, carefully observed the number and spacing of the foundation pit piles, inquired and recorded the data of the foundation pit unearthed, and took out his mobile phone to use video to record the on-site construction situation. After the inspection project is completed, Gui Shunfeng put forward relevant rectification opinions to the construction unit. Outdoors at only 14℃, he felt a little hot and pulled off the zipper of his jacket.
After inspecting the first phase of the comprehensive management of the Xunsi River Basin, Gui Shunfeng rushed to Chenjiaji Recycling Water Plant without stopping. As Hubei's first fully buried underground recycled water plant, the project is scheduled to be put into production and operation by the end of this year.

As soon as he arrived in the construction site, Gui Shunfeng hurriedly entered the underground space with the construction staff, reminded and emphasized the water storage test to be carried out on the project, and learned about the progress of the project from the person in charge. said that because the construction area of the project is in the encirclement area of the high-speed rail line and Zhujiahe, the construction period spans two flood control periods, and the project's seepage prevention and waterproof requirements have been simultaneously improved. "Every time Gui Shunfeng comes to the underground space to check, and he is very careful and serious. We love and fear him, but after he comes to check every week, we feel much more at ease." After
