
Live Bar September 20th According to US media reports, former No. 1 high school student in the United States, Emmani Bates was arrested by the police for two counts of felony firearms and can be sentenced to up to seven years in prison.
The vehicle that Bates drove last Sunday was inspected by the police for not stopping according to the parking sign. Police found an illegal gun in his car, and what's more serious is that the ID of the gun was artificially modified, and police in Superior Township, Michigan immediately arrested him. Bates has been released on bail and a hearing will be held on October 6. Eastern Michigan University has suspended Bates' training and competition arrangements as required.
Bates is 18 years old this year and is the first male athlete to win the Gatorade Player of the Year Award in his second year of high school. He has ranked in the top five in the U.S. high school student rankings in many media, ranking first, and is the best small forward in the United States. Bates played in only 15 games due to a back injury in his freshman season, averaging 9.7 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. This summer he just transferred from to to Eastern Michigan University.
