In order to welcome the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and commemorate the 73rd anniversary of the founding of CPPCC , strengthen the ties between CPPCC members and the masses, and better play the role of members as a bridge and link for deeply understanding the people's sentiments, fully reflecting public opinion, and widely gathering people's wisdom. In accordance with the unified deployment of the provincial, municipal and district CPPCC CPPCC, on September 21, Wujiabao Street relied on the CPPCC liaison working group to organize the theme activity of "Welcome the Twenty National Congress - Members in Action". All members went deep into the community and listened to the suggestions and opinions of the masses through discussions, visits, and research.
CPPCC members first concentrated on studying the "Regulations on Political Consultative Work of the Communist Party of China" and the "Regulations on United Front Work of the Communist Party of China", and spoke and exchanged one by one on the contents of visiting the masses, going deep into enterprises and communities in the jurisdiction since they served as members of the CPPCC, democratic supervision, investigation and research. CPPCC members actively participated and spoke freely, and combined their work and study to express their feelings, gains, and plans. The members unanimously agreed that it is necessary to strengthen theoretical study and exchanges, improve their ability to perform their duties, focus on the center to serve the overall situation, and actively provide suggestions for promoting community governance, environmental improvement, enterprise development, public welfare, etc.
After the study, the CPPCC members went deep into the community and enterprises, approached the masses, and promoted the Party’s policies and regulations through on-site communication, discussions, field research, etc., deeply understood the social conditions and public opinion, solved practical difficulties for the masses, and guided the masses to support the decisions of the Party Committee and the government and respond to the call of the Party Committee and the government. At the same time, the Wujiabao Street CPPCC Work Liaison Group promptly organized the liaison committee members to summarize and sort out the opinions and suggestions collected by the event in a timely manner, and made every effort to solve the urgent and difficult problems of the people, so as to truly make the people benefit and gain benefits.
