In order to have an in-depth understanding of the development of museums in Hebei Province and make preliminary preparations for the legislation of museum regulations , on the morning of July 14, 2022 Yang Jinshen, member of the Standing Committee of the Hebei Provincial People's Congress and director of the UNESCO Working Committee , led a team to Baoding conducted legislative research. Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Baoding Huo Zhanli, Director of Baoding Culture and Tourism Bureau Geng Yanrui and other leaders accompanied and organized a symposium to conduct research; Director of the Diary Museum Kang Dianying discussed the development status of non-state-owned museums at the symposium A brief report was given.
In the afternoon, the research team went to the Baoding Chinese Communist Party Member Diary Museum for on-site investigation and research. The curator Kang Dianying and the staff warmly received and accompanied the research team. Deputy Director Li Baotai gave a detailed introduction based on the exhibition, storage and construction of the Diary Museum collection.
During the on-site survey, everyone visited the five exhibition areas of the Diary Museum and watched the "Our Museum" video produced by the Diary Museum.
Everyone praised the excellent achievements of the Diary Museum as a non-state-owned museum. Director Yang Jinshen put forward guiding opinions and hoped that the Diary Museum would develop better and achieve greater results.
