According to Li Basi, the village-level river chief of the Yiqida River, the Yiqida River is the upper reaches of the Lianzhuang River, with a total length of 5.4 kilometers. It connects the Yiqida Reservoir, Eshuang Dalongtan, and Shuiwei Water Lifting Project. There are More than 3,600 acres of farmland. In their daily work, they effectively strengthened patrols and prevention, and promptly dealt with problems once they were discovered. The entire river has achieved good results without any danger for 16 consecutive years.
Li Basi, the village-level river chief of Yiqida River, said: "If we find a blockage during our patrol of the river, the village committee will organize personnel or machinery to deal with it. If big problems are found, they will report it to the town and strive for more power and funds. In the next step, we plan to actively strive for project funds to build the river into a three-sided ditch to keep the river flowing smoothly.” Carry out comprehensive inspections, clean the ditches along the highway and in front of and behind the village, and remove litter, garbage, blocked silt and weeds on both sides of the road.

In order to better protect the safety of residents' lives and property and ensure a safe passage through the flood season, Longwu Town insists on early planning, early deployment, and early implementation, and implements various flood prevention preparations in advance based on weather forecast information in a timely manner. The town quickly set off a wave of comprehensive inspections of key areas such as reservoirs, rivers, ditches, and road drainage pipes, and promptly carried out cleanup and rectification work. At the same time, it actively sought project funds to implement engineering management of rivers within the jurisdiction, and made every effort to build a strong safety defense line during the flood season.
