According to reports, the Tenth of Ramadan City Railway Project is contracted and constructed by China Railway-AVIC International Consortium, and CRRC Sifang provides all electric multiple units for the project. The vehicle supply contract was signed in 2018; the first train will roll off the assembly line in 2021 and will be delivered in batches.
