In order to implement the work arrangements of the Zigong Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government on fully integrating into the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing twin-city economic circle and deepen the integrated cooperation in market supervision between Zigong and Qijiang, Guo Xin, deputy director of the Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, and Yantan Zou Jiazhu, deputy director of the district government, recently led a team to Qijiang to inspect and study the development of the food park, the establishment of a national food safety demonstration city, and intellectual property protection. It aims to learn from each other's strengths and complement each other's weaknesses, and work together to promote exchanges and cooperation between the two places' food industrial parks, high-quality development ; deepen the integrated cooperation in market supervision between the two places, and strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in the creation of national food safety demonstration cities, intellectual property protection, inspection and testing, etc.
The inspection team went to the Qijiang Food Park Planning Exhibition Hall, Chongqing Jinxing Co., Ltd., and Tianhaixing Health Industrial Park for on-site inspections to learn about the food park overview, planning and construction status, enterprise settlement status, output value tax status, etc. Subsequently, the market supervision departments of Zigong and Qijiang held special symposiums to conduct in-depth exchanges on deepening integrated cooperation in market supervision, especially the creation of national food safety demonstration cities and intellectual property protection.
At the symposium, Qijiang District shared advanced experience and practices in creating a national food safety demonstration city, and exchanged views on the establishment of a national network market supervision and service demonstration city. Currently, only 13 cities across the country have launched the establishment, with a cycle of 2 years. The two sides also reached a consensus on promoting cooperation in intellectual property protection. Qijiang District’s successful experience and practices in creating a national food safety demonstration city are worth learning from Zigong. Zigong Bureau will transform advanced experience into learning results as soon as possible to further promote the creation of a national food safety demonstration city.
