In order to strengthen internal control management, prevent and resolve handling risks, starting from June 2022, the Municipal Medical Insurance Affairs Center will organize a special inspection team to conduct an inspection of the organizational structure, handling business operations, and fund finance of the city’s medical insurance handling agencies since 2019. A half-month self-examination and supervisory inspection was conducted on 52 business matters including information system usage, internal control, etc. The special inspection team is divided into five inspection teams: organizational structure, business operation control, fund finance, information system, internal control supervision, etc., with a clear division of labor and each performing its own duties. Based on the actual handling situation, the inspection team sorted out 79 core inspection links in the "Panzhihua City Medical Security Agency Internal Control Risk Prevention Checklist (Trial)", including 19 low-risk points, 36 medium-risk points, and 16 high-risk points. There are 8 extremely high risks, and the evaluation standards, evaluation scores, and problem feedback are clarified for the inspection results.

Currently, on-site inspections have been carried out on the medical insurance agencies in the East District, West District , and Yanbian County. A total of more than 100 people have participated in the inspection, and it is planned to complete the rectification of the problems before the end of July this year. At the same time, the Municipal Medical Insurance Affairs Center also actively carries out self-evaluation and self-inspection to prepare for the next step of successfully passing the on-site inspection and third-party spot inspection by the provincial and municipal medical insurance bureaus.
