On October 28, with the help of Song Wenbiao, the squad leader of the Sunduan Toll Station of the Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway, a Chi Heron who was injured by accidentally "crashing" was rescued in time.
On the morning of that day, a yellow-card truck slowly drove towards the entrance of Sunduan Toll Station. When the squad leader Xiao Song was checking the equipment, he suddenly heard a "bang", followed by a few birds screams. After the truck drove out of the lane, he found a bird flapping its wings by the lane, wailing from time to time. Xiao Song immediately closed the lane and went forward to visit carefully. This bird has a pointed mouth and a brown head, and is constantly waving its wings. Seeing someone approaching, it struggled desperately and tried to fly away.
Xiao Song found that the bird's wings and claws were injured to varying degrees, so he carefully put them in the paper box and then contacted the wildlife protection and rescue station for help.

According to professionals from the rescue station, the bird is national first-class protected animal , and its scientific name is Pond Heron. They speculated that the pool heron might accidentally hit the rear of the container truck during flight and were injured. The rescue station immediately treated the pool heron and considered waiting for its condition to stabilize before releasing it to return to nature.
