What does it mean to stare at you?
The main reason why the cat stares at you may be because of its personality and needs. For example, hunger. If you forget to feed it, your cat will stare at you, indicating that they need you to fill their plates. Especially when they look back and forth between you and their bowls. Or when your relaxed cat stares at you and slowly blinks, they are actually blowing kisses at you. This is a way for your cat to express your preference.
Sometimes, you may find your cat a little confused. This feeling is actually mutual. Your cat will stare at you because of curiosity. Maybe because they want to figure out what you are doing, or are curious about the food you are preparing for it.
Some cats are territorially conscious. They have their own spaces that they like, such as a comfortable bed or windowsill.
