Recently, an infrared camera located in the Nanshan Provincial Nature Reserve in Wucheng captured the scene of national second-class protected animal macaques "family trip". The picture is very warm and interesting.
In one shot, a macaque parent took the whole family to travel through the mountains and forests calmly; the little macaque leaned behind the tree and hesitated for a moment, and after confirming that there was no danger, he jumped and followed the team; the other macaque parent walked steadily in the middle of the team, followed by a furry little macaque behind him.
In another shot, the macaque brother and sister go out together and have fun all over the mountains. Only a macaque stopped and rested, and watched around, just met with infrared camera , and her cute expression was clearly visible.
In addition, there are scenes of macaque mother traveling with a little macaque on her back. The furry little macaque lay tightly on her mother's back, pressing her head against her soft belly, enjoying the joy of traveling.
According to the forest ranger, autumn has arrived, and the chestnuts on the hillside of the reserve have matured, and more than 100 macaques have come to pick the chestnuts and eat them in groups. The infrared camera just happened to capture these lenses. According to local villagers, the macaques are not afraid even if they encounter villagers going up the mountain to pick chestnuts. Their hands are very flexible, pick and peel and move quickly.
Wucheng Nanshan Provincial Nature Reserve is the largest provincial nature reserve in Zhejiang. According to the latest master plan, the approved area is 9549.82 hectares. Because it is located in the transition zone of biozoological systems, the protected area is also one of the most abundant areas in central Zhejiang with biodiversity. There are 255 species of wild vertebrates, including 28 national key protected wild animals such as yellow-bellied pheasant , white-necked long-tailed pheasant , black muntjac and pangolin ; there are 21,495 species of vascular plants, including 91 rare and endangered plants, including 27 national key protected wild plants such as Southern Yew and Bole tree .
In recent years, in order to do a good job in ecological protection of Nanshan, Wucheng Nanshan Provincial Nature Reserve has conducted natural resources surveys on the entire protected area, fully grasped the distribution of animals and plants, and will rely on three series of projects: protection management, scientific research monitoring, and public education to conduct grid management of the protected area. Through technical means such as video and fire prevention monitoring, infrared cameras, and meteorological monitoring, we will promote the digital construction of forest fire prevention , resource protection, etc., and explore the construction of a digital protection model of biodiversity.
