As a confidant of Tsai Ing-wen and the young leader of the "new trend" faction, Zheng Wencan was originally one of the candidates for the party chairman that was favored by all factions in the DPP. If Tsai Ing-wen really chooses to push Chen Jianren, then the "British" people in the Democratic Progressive Party will mobilize to support the election. And he himself said that he will "step forward" if necessary!
