This year, the city plans to renovate 475 old communities and 200 surrounding back streets and alleys.
The renovation of old communities insists on asking the people about their needs, advice, and effectiveness. It coordinates the spatial form, economic business format, environmental ecology, and cultural vitality. Taking the "one demolition, five reforms, and three increase" as a measure, it focuses on improving and renovating the house body and park supporting facilities, supports the installation of elevators in communities with conditions, and simultaneously improves the area's elderly care, child care, medical care, convenience stores and other supporting public service facilities, comprehensively improves the community environment and improves the quality of life of residents.

This year, the city plans to renovate the old Pipe Network in total 1,178 kilometers. Among them, 221 kilometers of gas pipeline network were renovated, 747 kilometers of water supply pipeline network, and 210 kilometers of heating pipeline network were transformed.
Through the transformation of old pipelines, we will further eliminate the safety hazards of underground pipelines, improve the urban underground pipeline system, ensure that the municipal pipeline facilities are basically intact, and continuously enhance urban resilience. During the organization and implementation of the project, the construction period will be scientifically scheduled, the transformation schedule will be arranged in an orderly manner, the project construction will be accelerated, the road surface will be quickly restored, and the unfinished project will be covered with steel plates in a timely manner to ensure normal traffic passage. The construction of the project and transportation organization relationship will be coordinated to minimize the impact on urban transportation.
Urban and rural junction upgrade and transformation project
aims to create a "clean, orderly, safe and smart" urban and rural environment. Street Road Update and Renovation Project
Shenyang City plans to renew and renovate some main and secondary roads in the city in three years starting from 2021. This year, the city plans to implement 41 streets and road renewal projects including Wenyi Road, Xiaoxi Road, Weigong Street, Lingyuan Street, Dadong Road, Nujiang Street.
