Since this year, our city has combined the in-depth implementation of the "six major projects" of scientific and technological innovation and strives to transform the countermeasures and suggestions put forward in key proposals into specific measures to promote scientific and technological innovation. From January to July this year, the city's high-tech industry output value was 427.05 billion yuan, an increase of 16.3% year-on-year, accounting for 51.5% of the city's industrial output value above the designated size; the city applied for 163 national talent projects and 52 provincial dual innovation plan projects, and launched the "listing and leadership" mechanism for scientific and technological research, and recruiting talents at home and abroad, with a total amount of nearly 100 million yuan; our city actively strengthened its efforts to compete with the top, and currently, a total of 107 scientific and technological projects in 10 categories have been approved by the provincial department, with funding support of 258 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of more than doubled.
Jiang Pengju pointed out that in the future, our city will continue to place innovation at the core of overall development, and gather strength in strengthening industrial technological innovation capabilities, building major innovation platform carriers, supporting and cultivating scientific and technological innovation subjects, and creating a good open innovation ecosystem.
members fully affirmed the achievements made by our city in strengthening scientific and technological innovation services and promoting the construction of an international intelligent manufacturing city and suggested that we should base ourselves on the city's resource endowment, strengthen top-level design, grasp cutting-edge leadership, give full play to Changzhou's industrial advantages, accelerate the deployment of innovation chains around the industrial chain, and attract more technology service enterprises to settle in; we should innovate scientific and technological innovation service models, effectively integrate resources in Changchang universities, research institutions and innovative enterprises, build a high-level innovation platform, and promote the integration and sharing of innovative resources within the region; we should vigorously implement the strategy of strengthening the city with talents, attract high-end talents from all over the world, and use talents to support the development of scientific and technological innovation.
