Subsequently, with the support of the Liaoyuan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, it successively cooperated with Shanghai Fudan University Institute of Biomedical Research, Jilin University School of Pharmacy, Northeast Normal University School of Life Sciences, Jilin Agricultural University and other institutions, developed dozens of innovative products and obtained two national invention patents.
In recent years, Jilin Ruikang Biotechnology Co., Ltd. has used modern production equipment and inspection and testing equipment to cultivate excellent varieties of Dongfeng sika deer, constantly changing its R&D ideas and innovative technology processes, targeting the potential demand for market consumption, and has developed 8 production lines including meat products, soft capsules, hard capsules, tablets, granules, powders, health products, and drinking water with sika deer as raw materials. In 2015, three products developed by the company and the School of Pharmacy of Jilin University were successfully launched using technical means such as raw material enzymatic lysis and ultrafine crushing. In 2017, a series of products developed through cooperation between schools and enterprises were also successfully launched, and more than 100 products were sold all over the country.
The company now has more than 40 kinds of deer heart slices, deer tendon slices, deer tail slices, deer tendon granules, deer bone powder collagen slices, etc. using sika deer by-products as raw materials; more than 20 types of marinated venison, venison sauce and other snack foods based on sika deer as raw materials. But Liu Changzhi was not satisfied with this. He said: "At present, we are cooperating with the School of Pharmacy of Jilin University to deeply study deep processing and other technical processes, develop special foods with high protein, low fat, crude fiber, and low cholesterol, and use the combination of online and offline methods to continuously explore new markets, striving to let Liaoyuan's deer products go abroad and let Liaoyuan's sika deer culture go to the world."
