On November 11, a reporter from Nandu learned from the Nantou County Fire Department in Taiwan that a traffic accident occurred before Renai Middle School, Taiwan 14 Line A, Nantou County at around 11:00 on the 11th. Nantou County Fire Department said that the accident was a passenger car that accidentally overturned before passing through Yurenai Middle School. Two passengers were trapped in the car, and one of them showed no signs of life when they were rescued.
According to the Nantou County Fire Department, at around 11:00 on the 11th, a small passenger car suddenly lost control while going down the mountain and hit a tree outside the wall of Renai Middle School. The car overturned and got stuck in two trees. There were 4 people in the car at the time of the accident. According to Taiwanese media reports, when the firefighters arrived, two passengers in the car had escaped from the trap by themselves, and the remaining two passengers were trapped in the car. The trapped people were rescued by the firefighters using equipment to stretch the deformed car body. One of the men showed no signs of life when they were rescued, and the remaining injured had been transferred to Taichung for treatment.
According to the police in Renai Township, Nantou County, there were four people driving in the car with Liu surnamed in total from other counties and cities. The driver said that "the brakes cannot be stepped on, and the brakes failed." There was no drunk driving in the preliminary test. The middle school where the incident happened was not at school time, otherwise the consequences would be unimaginable. The cause of the car accident remains to be investigated further by the police.
