Taiwan’s economy fundamentally relies on the mainland and cross-strait exchanges. If cross-strait relations are good, Taiwan’s economy will be good. Since 2008, the peaceful development of cross-strait has brought about a swell of people, logistics and wealth. The "cake" has become bigger, but it only needs to be dealt with how to divide it well and benefit more grassroots people.
But after 2016, with the comeback of green governance, the countercurrent of attempting to "decouple and break the chain" between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait also came, and in line with the shift of Western policy of contact with China, it was even more hostile and calculating. In this atmosphere, some political forces on the island concocted the logic of "anti-China making a fortune", using the benefits of governing, the convenience of "revising the law", and manipulating public opinion, to steal the "cake" that originally had the benefits of cross-strait peace dividends for themselves and to rob them, which was extremely ugly. In this way, under the artificial shaping of the green camp, the more "anti-China" the more you can eat the cake, and "Taiwanese values" and "Taiwan independence gods" have transformed into passwords to gain privileges.
For example, Taiwan's health department often rejects mainland COVID-19 vaccines under the pretext of "anti-China", but it was revealed that Taiwan's boasts about "German imported" vaccines was jointly developed with mainland companies. When you look closely, the chairman of the Taiwan agency, Dongyang, is Lin Quan, the "President" of the Taiwan authorities, and the atmosphere of "green revolving door" comes to your face. For example, Zhongtian TV has been accused by the green camp "red media" for a long time, and the NCC's "removal of photos" has become increasingly serious, but the secret documents of Taiwan's party and government "two digits can deal with Zhongtian" are exposed. Behind the understatement of "instructions", it is probably that the green media and factional hilltops join hands and covet the media resources on the island... There are countless similar cases.
's recent events, combined with the previous "illegal" and "exited" of mainland companies such as Taobao, iQiyi , it can be seen that the roadmap for "anti-China makes a fortune" under green governance has been exhausted: first hype the issue of "unification and independence" and discredit competitors, then rely on the "big beasts" of the party, government and media to provide a "most comfortable" policy environment or market atmosphere, and then snatch resources and swallow assets.
In fact, such routines are not unfamiliar. The green ruling group on the island has no intention of developing, improving the economy, and benefiting people's livelihood. The essence of its governance is the trilogy of "deception-struggle-plunder", and the "Taiwan independence-anti-China" ideology is the "no two ways" to fool the people, launch struggles, and achieve plunder. This is the nature of this group of people. Even if there are more "literary and youth language" or "Internet celebrity packaging", it will always show the evil appearance of greed in the end. What's more serious is that the logic of "anti-China making a fortune" is actually sold internationally, and hit it off with Western politicians, consortiums, and arms dealers. Behind the huge military spending and trading of clenbuterol meat products, I don't know how many brokers have made a fortune!
Although the size of the two sides of the Taiwan Strait is obvious, to be fair, Taiwan still maintains competitiveness in some technologies, innovation, talents, etc. As long as both sides of the Taiwan Strait jointly create a fair, open and non-discriminatory market, allowing market entities on both sides of the Taiwan Strait to compete and cooperate freely and develop together, they will surely achieve integrated development, mutual benefit and win-win results, and work together to revitalize the Chinese nation's economy. However, some people on the island are afraid of competition and lack self-confidence, and are misled by the ulterior motives of political thinking. The bad influence of ideology distorting the rules of the market economy will surely lead Taiwan's economy astray step by step, which is like taking the "chronic poison".
After experiencing the fanaticism of the election battle in the past year, the stimulation of the external environment, and the manipulation of the populist cyber, Taiwanese society should be tired and tired! The recent emergence of "anti-war" remarks on the island show the simple demands of the people to live a good life and refuse to be kidnapped by extreme politics.

The epidemic has brought the economic difficulties of Taiwan. Although Taiwan’s economic data seems to be eye-catching, all of this is supported by cross-strait economic and trade, and this is thanks to the rapid recovery of production and life under efficient prevention and control of the mainland. However, it is ridiculous and sad that Taiwan’s legislative body questioned the fact that Taiwan’s “central bank president” Yang Jinlong was frank about the fact that the mainland’s epidemic has slowed down and the economy has recovered, but was scolded by the green camp’s public opinion representatives.
Sorrow for the hardships of people’s livelihood! If some people on the island are still obsessed with the logic of "anti-China making a fortune", then the resentment of people's livelihood from thousands of households at the grassroots level is destined to gather into a torrent of the arrogance and greed that backfired the authorities.
