Professor Zhu Huide explained CMMI agile project management
Since 2013, the construction of characteristic industrial parks in Hubei Province's software and information service industry has been accelerated comprehensively. CMMI certification is an indispensable part of domestic software and service outsourcing companies entering the international market. For this training, the Wuhan Information Technology Outsourcing Service and Research Center specially invited Professor Zhu Huide, an authorized CMMI lecturer from the School of Software Engineering (SEI) of Carnegie Meilong University (CMU) in the United States, to conduct CMMI certification training in Wuhan. Professor Zhu Huide is a PhD in the Department of Computational Sciences at Newcastle University in the UK and the Dean of the School of Information, Deming University of Finance and Economics, Taiwan. He is also the Director of CMMI, the Center for Information Technology Outsourcing Services and Research, Wuhan, specializing in software quality management and project management.
Professor Zhu Huide introduced the basic concepts and overall framework of CMMI to the software engineering managers, developers, testers and process managers on the spot, and focused on the core of CMMI certification - agile project management. At the same time, Professor Zhu Huide had sufficient interaction with the students on the spot to help them better understand the content of the training.
American Project Management Association PMI has found that many project needs are constantly changing. Customers must seek innovation, change and speed to win in the market, while valuable needs must be constantly communicated, executed, displayed and reviewed. Therefore, if the project is implemented according to the planned plan formulated N months ago, even if it can be completed as scheduled, on quality and on budget, if the delivered item has no value to the customer, it is a failed project. On the contrary, the project will stop after only one month of execution, but the team proves that the concept is not feasible for the client during the period, or the continued investment will not be worth the loss.
