China Quality News Network (Zhang Yang) Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the "Public Announcement on the Preliminary Review of the Liquidation and Review of Subsidy Funds for the Promotion and Application of New Energy Vehicles in 2018-2021" (hereinafter referred to as the "Public Announcement"). The "Public Announcement" shows that in this subsidy liquidation work, a total of 2.118 million vehicles were declared, and the total amount of subsidy funds applied for liquidation was 38.25 billion yuan. The total number of vehicles approved by the competent authorities is 1.986 million, and the total amount of subsidy funds to be liquidated is 35.56 billion yuan.

Judging from the vehicle information on the liquidation and review of subsidy funds released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the subsidy funds to be liquidated in 2018 were 4.05279 billion yuan, 4.7021 billion yuan in 2019, 4.60327 billion yuan in 2020, and 22.20367 billion yuan in 2021. Due to the decline in subsidies year by year, the approved subsidy standard has also dropped from an average of 69,900 yuan for bicycles in 2018 to an average of 20,800 yuan for bicycles in 2022.
In this liquidation announcement, the subsidy in 2021 is the first time that the liquidation work has been started, and the number of vehicles and the amount of subsidy involved are more than in previous years. According to the data, the number of subsidies for new energy vehicles involved in 2021 was 1.569 million vehicles, and the subsidy funds to be liquidated were 22.2 billion yuan.
Compared with 2021, although the subsidy for new energy vehicles continued in 2022, the subsidy amount has been reduced. According to the new energy subsidy policy in 2022, the subsidy standard will be reduced by 30% on the basis of 2021. At the same time, vehicles that enjoy subsidies need to meet the price of less than 300,000 yuan. In terms of private new energy passenger cars, if the pure electric range is between 300-400 kilometers, the subsidy limit is 9,100 yuan; if the pure electric range is greater than or equal to 400 kilometers, the subsidy limit is 12,600 yuan; if the plug-in hybrid model is subsidy limit is 4,800 yuan.
