The hometown of retired soldier Jiang Shiming Xinji Town is located in the eastern part of Yizheng City. It is the beautiful "Welcome Pine" of Yizheng. It has obvious location advantages, developed economy and convenient transportation. It is an emerging industrial and trade town on the urban agglomerations of Shanghai, Ningbo, Yang, and Town. The town is 610 kilometers away from Yangzhou, 60 kilometers away from Nanjing, and 620 kilometers away from Zhenjiang. Jiang Shiming is 53 years old this year and was once a soldier from a certain department of the Beijing Garrison District. As a veteran, Jiang Shiming has a special emotion for the national flag. In 1995, Jiang Shiming, who retired and returned home, made a flagpole, bought the national flag, and held a simple and solemn flag-raising ceremony in his own courtyard. From then on, the five-star red flag has always fluttered high in this ordinary farmyard. Over the past 27 years, even though the national flag has been replaced by 54 sides, the flag-raising ceremony has never been interrupted. After retiring and returning home, he found a job by himself while running a militia bookstore in the village, actively publicizing the policies of the Party and the state, and promoting positive energy. Out of love, he persisted in holding a flag-raising event in his farmyard.
In 2019, with the help and support of Yizheng City Veterans Affairs Bureau, Xinji Town Party Committee and Government, he founded Yizheng City Militia Bookstore, which attracted villagers on card tables, casinos, and dance halls to read books and newspapers to increase their knowledge, greatly improving the cultural cultivation and quality of the residents of the village group. Neighborhood relations were generally harmonious, and gambling crimes were reduced, and the construction of new books and new civilizations was promoted.
Minister Bookstore has been established on August 1, 2019, and has expanded to more than 120m2 from the beginning, and has been expanded to more than 120m2.
