Between four and six o'clock on October 4, the editor of "Discovering Qingyuan" drove north along the Xuguang Expressway and found that the cars heading south on the opposite side had already lined up in a long queue, and there was no sight at all.
According to previous experience, highways will never be like this traffic jam from October 2 to 5 every year. Because many friends will choose to end the holiday on the 6th or 7th to fully enjoy the happiness brought by the long holiday.
But this year is so different. If you carefully analyze it, it is due to the impact of the epidemic. Many friends who leave the province must take two tests for three days before returning to work; even if they only visit relatives, friends or vacation in the province, they must take a day in advance before returning to work.
Of course, there are quite a few friends whose companies only take five days off; in addition, many friends are afraid of encountering traffic jams on the 6th or 7th, and end their happy holidays early with the mentality of staggering the return trip. But I never thought that I was still stuck on the highway when I returned.
On the Heyun to Zhukeng section of Xuguang Expressway, the editor released the drone and took pictures of the heavy traffic jam on the expressway from a high altitude. Traffic congestion is really long and often it doesn’t move. Between four and six o'clock in the afternoon, the traffic jam has stretched for 20 kilometers.
As of 8 pm on October 4, the traffic jamming from the southward direction of the Xuguang Expressway has reached 40 kilometers, extending from Zhukeng to Shitan, which means that the Heyun traffic jamming section has been closely connected to the Liujiatong section.

such a large traffic jam makes many friends who have to choose Xuguang Expressway particularly helpless. Some people complained that it was a three-hour drive to Guangzhou from Yangshan at noon today, and it took eight hours to walk!
Someone left Xuguang Expressway and planned to drive back along Provincial Highway S114. Unexpectedly, the Heyun to Zhukeng section of Provincial Highway S114 was also stuck in a motionless state, which made people really collapse!
Someone even drove the car into the fresh service area to rest and cheer. But it is not easy to get in, and it is even more difficult to get out. Someone came out of the service area and stuffed it into the main road for two hours. Because the vehicles on the main lane are motionless, vehicles in the service area cannot enter the main lane at all.
