I also talked about it in issue 144. This is a struggle within Buddhism. Originally, , the Buddha of East, (Maitreya Buddha), has been designated as the next leader. Everyone supports the pursuit of scriptures for the sake of the Buddhist development! But he was deeply confused when facing all the strange behaviors of the team after the journey to the scriptures. Finally, one day he slapped his brain and it was broken and I was deceived! So he began to doubt Sun Wukong's identity. Let's take a closer look at the Huangmei Monster. His move took Sun Wukong's life, but Tang Seng , the master of the team to obtain the scriptures, became a supporting role. It can be seen that they came for Sun Wukong. Just like the Qing Dynasty back then, they were not very capable in dealing with people outside. It was cruel to deal with the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom!
At this time, Sun Wukong was really helpless. He could neither look for Guanyin Bodhisattva nor the Tathagata Buddha . Even Jade Emperor could only help him secretly. What should I do? With his own strength, how can he become the next leader? He was involved in the power struggle and couldn't help but burst into tears. So how did this crisis resolve?
This issue of Yang Jiaofeng talks about Journey to the West: Sun Wukong cried three times in Xiao Leiyin Temple, accidentally exposed the secret that Maitreya Buddha finally let go!
1. Who will help Sun Wukong? (1)
After Sun Wukong cried, he finally calmed down. He still had to walk on the road, Tang Monk still had to save him, and the sutras were still to be taken! So who else can he find?
Of course, we can't look for Guanyin Bodhisattva and Tathagata Buddha. If we really look for it, we really can't stop this matter. Everyone is really breaking up and it will be good for anyone. So in the order of the characters, he thought of one of the leaders of the twenty-eight constellations - Emperor Zhenwu. Will Emperor Zhenwu take this big trouble?
Let’s first look at what Emperor Zhenwu said after seeing Sun Wukong?
The ancestor said, "I was in power in the north, and ruled the position of Zhenwu, and cut down the evil spirits in the world... (Omitted several) Now that the Great Sage has descended, I have to do it; but there is no order in the upper world, so I dare not act without war. If the gods are sent to the law, I am afraid that the Jade Emperor will be guilty of the crime; if the great sage is defeated, I am against human nature. I am sorry that even if there are evil spirits on the west road, it will not be a big harm. I am now taking the two generals of the turtle and snake and the five dragons to help you, discipline and capture the evil spirits and save your teacher."
This ancestor is too long-winded, right? This is a way to save people. Is it necessary to tell all his life and deeds? It would be fine to tell them all, but in the end he didn't make a move himself? So after talking about it, he expressed three meanings:
's first meaning: I am very powerful, and the demons and monsters in the north are not my opponents. Once I take action, I will definitely be able to capture it! But I think the evil spirits in the West are not worth my personal action!
's second meaning: Although I am very powerful, I also want to Help you, but I have a leader above me. I have to abide by the rules. I really go and help. What should I do if I blame Jade Emperor ?
The third meaning: Although I am also afraid that the Jade Emperor will blame him, since you have spoken, I still have to help me. I will send the two generals of turtle and snake and the five dragons to save your master!
Who is Zhenwu Emperor? He is a high-ranking official, he still doesn't understand the way of officialdom? Oh, I will help you, am I even more awesome than the Jade Emperor? The Jade Emperor secretly helps you, can I show off? Also, what is Xiao Leiyin Temple? Fang? That is the territory of Maitreya Buddha. The Tathagata Buddha dared not care about it. Let me step on the thunder? Also, who is Sun Wukong? A hero in the Three Realms, I still have to give him this face. Who knows who is behind him!
2. Who will help Sun Wukong? (II)
The yellow-browed monster waited for Sun Wukong for two days and couldn't help but say:
Sun Xingzhe hasn't come these two days, and he doesn't know where to borrow soldiers.
Yang Jiaofeng said, this yellow-browed monster came to Sun Wukong, just to ask him to borrow soldiers. Don’t forget that the Buddha from the East (Maitreya Buddha) has been observing secretly. See who Sun Wukong is? Where can he move soldiers?
Not long after, Sun Wukong brought the two generals of the turtle and snake and the five dragons back to Xiao Leiyin Temple, and kept shouting and scolding, which was completely opposite to the secret actions of the twenty-eight constellations sent by the Jade Emperor:
Five dragons and the two generals were majestic and energetic, and shouted, “That monster! I am the five dragon gods, turtle and snake generals before the Hunyuan Sect leader of the Dahe Palace in Wudang Mountain... I will send Tang Seng and Yaoxing out to avoid you from dying!
is really good to use. I, Emperor Zhenwu, don’t know anything. This is what Sun Wukong invited me to, and I will make everyone know it. Of course, our strength is indeed not great, and we were caught in an instant. We have tried our best to put our hands on Sun Wukong! Anyway, no one can offend!
Now Sun Wukong was stunned again. He was really helpless and tired. When he was drowsy, the daily Gongcao came. Hey, why wasn't the daily Gongcao caught by the yellow-browed monster? Where did he go these two days? I have to analyze from what he said:
Great Sage... We have long followed the Bodhisattva's order to teach me to secretly protect Tang Monk...
In the last issue, I talked about the Five Directions Jie Di being the inner minister of the Jade Emperor. In this issue, I analyzed that the Sun Gongcao was a member of Guanyin Bodhisattva. It seems that this team of seeking scriptures is really not simple!
Then Sun Wukong cried again:
When the practitioner heard this, he burst into tears to Gongcao, "I am now ashamed to the Heavenly Palace..."
Gongcao said, it doesn't matter, I have a way:
The little god remembered an elite soldier, please come and surrender... There is an Great Sage National Master Wang Bodhisattva there, and he has great supernatural powers...
What medicine does Gongcao gourd sell in this day value?
3. Who will help Sun Wukong? (III) When Sun Wukong found the great sage master Wang Bodhisattva who was reminded by the day of Gongcao, he did not expect that they had known it for a long time:
The national master Wang Bodhisattva had known it for a long time, that is, he went out with Prince Xiao Zhang to welcome him...
Combined with the words of the day of Gongcao just now:
Gongcao smiled and said, "...If you go to invite him now, he will come to help you, and you can definitely catch the monster and save the master."
It can be seen that Gongcao has not been idle these two days. He came to find the great sage national master Wang Bodhisattva in advance, and the agreement has been made! But after Sun Wukong told the situation, the national master Wang Bodhisattva suddenly changed his mind again:
National Master Wang said: "What you do today is because of the prosperity of Buddhism, so you should go in person; but it is early summer... Now I am going to lead the four generals to help you, and refine the demons and subdue it. "
It turns out that when the national master Wang Bodhisattva heard that Sun Wukong had gone to find Emperor Zhenwu, he suddenly woke up! He knew that the daily Gongcao was from Guanyin Bodhisattva. You Guanyin Bodhisattva didn't dare to do anything, so he asked me to mediate? I thought you were not free, but it turned out that Sun Wukong didn't invite him at all? Since even Emperor Zhenwu didn't have time to take care of this matter, I think it's extraordinary, so you shouldn't act rashly!
The water is a bit deep, and I'm fooling me. Although I don't know what the real purpose of obtaining the scriptures is, it's definitely not just a mission to the Tang Dynasty! But if you don't send a person, it would be too much. After all, it's a great cause for obtaining the scriptures, and I'm also a person who wants face!
Oh, Wukong, isn't it summer now? The river water is easy to break the dam, and I can't walk away for a while. What should I do if the water ape saint who had just been collected escaped? You know, my territory is small, I can't do it without me! I will send a few people to help you!
The happiest person is Prince Xiao Zhang. He doesn't know what the meaning is behind this, he only knows that he is going to take the lead this time, but when he has the opportunity to perform, he scolds him when he sees the yellow-robed monster. As a result, he is also collected by a racial bag!
4. Maitreya Buddha came out
Sun Wukong lost again. He was helpless and cried for the third time, crying extremely miserable. At this time, Maitreya Buddha finally appeared:
The Great Sage was in a miserable state, and suddenly saw a colorful cloud falling from the southwest, with heavy rain on the top of the mountain. Someone shouted, "Wukong, do you recognize me? "
It's really a long drought that has a rain. Maitreya Buddha did not forget to see Sun Wukong when he appeared: Sun Wukong, do you recognize me?
This is asking knowingly, and in order to continue to test Sun Wukong, Sun Wukong gave Maitreya Buddha enough face:
When the practitioner saw it, he hurriedly bowed: "Where is the Buddha coming from the east, where is he going? The disciples avoided it. All sins! All sins! "
Maitreya Buddha saw Sun Wukong as such a coward, and finally let go of his last doubt. How could Sun Wukong, who is so virtuous, become the next leader, and his strength?
At the beginning, the Buddha Donglai (Maitreya Buddha) was very suspicious of Sun Wukong and kept hiding at Sun Wukong's performance. His behavior was seen by the Buddha Tathagata, so he did not dare to interfere. Sun Wukong also knew the current affairs and did not go to find Tathagata Buddha or Guanyin Bodhisattva! But after the Buddha Donglai (Maitreya Buddha) saw the Jade Emperor sending people to rescue him quickly, he began to doubt his judgment. The Buddha Tathagata promised Sun Wukong's indicators to become a Buddha, was it because of the Jade Emperor's interference? This made him think too much, if he judged that Sun Wukong was transformed (or reincarnated) by Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, then Sun Wukong will definitely die, and there is no more favorable way to get rid of competitors than this opportunity.
When he realized that Sun Wukong might have a different relationship with the Jade Emperor, he changed his strategy and did not rush to kill Sun Wukong. He should take a closer look at his relationship network and look at his skills. If his relationship network is very dedicated, it is very easy to determine that he is the group of people. He only needs to judge the relationship between the people and himself to judge whether to get rid of Sun Wukong. If Sun Wukong is indeed awesome, even the old monster of yellow eyebrows is not his opponent, then Sun Wukong will definitely die. Such a big hidden danger is not what the future Buddha (Maitreya Buddha) hopes to leave!
It was only later that Sun Wukong found Zhenwu Emperor and the national teacher Wang Bodhisattva, and he couldn't tell which wave he was from.Especially when he saw that he was not very capable and had poor psychological quality, he cried three times in such a thing! So he judged that Sun Wukong was not afraid and would not become a hidden danger. Let him go for the time being!
So, Sun Wukong cried three times, saving his life instead!
Since Maitreya Buddha has achieved his goal, he only needs to order the yellow-browed monster to stop. Let’s see that the other Bodhisattva mounts or boys are in trouble and they are taken away directly, without any punishment! But why do you still have to let Sun Wukong get into his stomach when dealing with the yellow-browed boy? Why call him a villain? What is this yellow-browed boy from?
