Major League of China (CPBL, full English name Chinese Professional Baseball League, abbreviated as Chinese Professional Baseball or secondary vocational school) was merged from the merger of "China Professional Baseball League" and "Taiwan League" in 2003. Currently, there are four teams in the Chinese Professional Baseball Team. The annual season is about March to October, and the schedule is 30 weeks. Each team plays 100 games per season, and a total of 300 regular games will be held throughout the year. The schedule will be held in the first and second half of the seasons. When the first and second half of the year were different teams, the team with the lowest winning rate of the year among the first and second half of the year, the team with the lowest winning rate among the two teams in the first and second half of the year, and the "wild card" team with the highest winning rate among the remaining four teams, will play the playoffs, and adopt a five-match three-win system.

China Professional Baseball Baseball has basically implemented "territorialism". Players and coaches
Each team can register as one head coach, several coaches, twenty-five formal players and several reserve players. The quota of foreign coaches shall not account for more than half of the coach registration quota. Those who register as a player and coach shall be calculated as the quota of official players.
Foreign players
In the season of this year, each team must register three foreign players, with three players being limited to playing in each game, and two players must play at the same time. Before August 31, new foreign players must complete registration. A contestant after cancellation is not allowed to register again. Currently, foreign players come from the United States, Japan, Central and South American countries or independent league teams, and their skills and salary levels are also increasing. Many foreign players have the qualifications of American professional base . The current average salary of foreign players is about US$7,000 per month.
annual draft
League currently holds its annual rookie draft in the middle of each year; one month before the draft meeting, the league will announce information to the outside world and the media to facilitate player registration. Any player who has been registered as a baseball player in the Amateur A (player who is contacted by the team itself is not subject to this restriction) and high school group A can sign up for the draft.
