From July 20 to 21, the 7th Anhui-Taiwan Internet of Things Seminar was held at Chuzhou College . Affected by the epidemic, the meeting was held through cross-strait connections. More than 30 experts and scholars from 17 universities and research institutions including Tamkang University, Chang Gung University, Zhongyuan University, , Yilan University, and three companies including Taiwan Artificial Intelligence Co., Ltd. attended the Taiwan venue meeting, and more than 40 experts and scholars from more than 20 universities and research institutions in Anhui Province attended the on-site meeting of Chuzhou University.

Anhui Taiwan Internet of Things Seminar was jointly initiated and hosted by Chuzhou College, Anhui Computer Society, Taiwan Tamkang University and other cross-strait academic groups and universities. It has been successfully held for seven sessions. Among them, the first session in 2014, the third session in 2016, and the fifth session in 2018 were held at Tamkang University, Taiwan, the second session in 2015, the fourth session in 2017, and the sixth session in 2019 were held at Chuzhou University.

Zheng Chaogui delivered a speech at the opening ceremony, extending warm congratulations to the convening of this "cloud" meeting, and extending warm welcome to all the experts and scholars and representatives from Taiwan who attended the meeting, and briefly introduced the development overview of Chuzhou College from the aspects of development history, faculty and school positioning.
Zheng Chaogui pointed out that the 7th Anhui-Taiwan Internet of Things Seminar will be held online and offline, and will conduct special discussions on multiple topics such as the Internet of Things architecture, reliable transmission of the Internet of Things, health care, Internet of Things and artificial intelligence, big data, and the integration of cross-strait industry and education, and cooperation and exchanges between Anhui-Taiwan universities, etc. I believe this meeting will achieve greater results. We hope that the experts and scholars attending the meeting will communicate with each other, enhance understanding, build consensus, and work together to create an Internet of Things cooperation brand in Anhui-Taiwan, promote more extensive and in-depth exchanges and cooperation among Anhui-Taiwan universities, improve the Internet of Things technology research and application development capabilities of universities, strengthen the construction of computer and Internet of Things professional disciplines in universities, promote the transformation of Internet of Things research results, and make positive contributions to social progress and economic development.

Ge Huanzhao briefly introduced the importance of technology and the important influence of the development of the Internet at the opening ceremony. He said that due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, we conducted this very meaningful seminar through video conferencing, which has accelerated the speed and need for us to use the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence to solve problems. He hopes that the seminar will continue to develop and provide a high-level academic and technical exchange platform for researchers, educators and corporates engaged in IoT-related work on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. He also expressed his hope to attend the 8th Anhui-Taiwan Internet of Things Seminar next year to deepen exchanges and cooperation between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. At the
seminar, experts and scholars from both sides of the Taiwan Strait held extensive discussions on topics such as educational big data analysis for personalized learning, research on the application of artificial intelligence in smart services, and post-epidemic smart manufacturing VS digital transformation, and held 6 special reports and 1 open forum, forming a broad consensus on further strengthening exchanges and cooperation.
Professor Chen Enhong from the University of Science and Technology of China gave a theme report on "Educational Big Data Analysis for Personalized Learning" at the meeting, Hu Boqi, CEO of the Taiwan Artificial Intelligence Universal Research Center, gave a theme report on "Research on the Application of Artificial Intelligence in Smart Services", Professor Ma Zuchang of Hefei Institute of Intelligence of the Chinese Academy of Sciences gave a theme report on "Research and Application of Exercise Promoting Health Information Technology, Manager Zhu Shiyou of the Taiwan Securities Association gave a theme report on "Development Trend of Digital Financial Innovation", Dr. Tan Chang of iFlytek Co., Ltd. gave a theme report on "Application of Internet of Things Technology in Urban Transportation Super Brain Construction", Dr. Qian Jinjin of Ruiyang Information Co., Ltd. gave a theme report on "Smart Manufacturing VS Digital Transformation after the Epidemic".
The delegates unanimously agreed that the holding of the Internet of Things seminar has injected new content and built a new platform for promoting educational exchanges in Anhui and Taiwan and inter-school cooperation in colleges and universities. It is of great significance to promote academic exchanges in Anhui and Taiwan universities and promote the construction and development of Internet of Things disciplines and majors in cross-strait universities, and will play a positive role in further improving the level of educational exchanges and cooperation in Anhui and Taiwan.
