2022 version of the "Guidelines" mainly include influenza etiology, epidemiology, seasonality and other characteristics, the health and economic burden caused by influenza in different groups, the types and immunogenicity, efficacy, effects, cost-benefits, safety of influenza vaccines, and vaccination recommendations for 2022-2023.

High priority for these people to be vaccinated with

In combination with the situation of the new crown pneumonia epidemic this year, the 2022 edition of the "Guidelines" will recommend the following key and high-risk groups to be vaccinated in a timely manner:

  • Medical personnel, including clinical treatment personnel, public health personnel, health quarantine personnel, etc.;
    • participants and security personnel in large-scale events;
    • vulnerable groups and employees in nursing homes, long-term care institutions, welfare homes and other places of gathering;
    • key places, such as teachers and students from childcare institutions, primary and secondary schools, detainees and staff in prison institutions, etc.;
    • other high-risk groups in influenza, including home-based elderly people aged 60 and above, children aged 6 months to 5 years, patients with chronic diseases, family members and caregivers of babies under 6 months of age, and pregnant women.

    2022 version of the "Guidelines" also pointed out that 8 and above can receive inactivated influenza vaccine and new crown vaccine on both sides of the limbs when receiving immunization services at one time; it is recommended that the interval between influenza vaccine and new crown vaccine is still greater than 14 days.

    About vaccination doses

    For inactivated influenza vaccine

    6 months old ~8 years old children were vaccinated with the first time influenza vaccine 2 doses should be given, with an interval of ≥4 weeks;

    2021-2022 or before, it is recommended to receive 1 dose;

    9 years old and above only needs to receive 1 dose.

    For live attenuated influenza vaccine

    only one dose is given regardless of whether the influenza vaccine has been vaccinated.

    This guideline is the influenza vaccine working group of the National Immunization Program Technical Working Group of the China Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and has been updated and revised on the basis of the "Technical Guidelines for the Prevention of Influenza Vaccine (2021-2022)". The updated content of the guideline mainly includes the following aspects:
