01 was born in poor
1917 Yu Sang was born in a farmer in Sichuan. He was originally from a poor family and was disabled in his birth, so his legs were not very convenient. The neighbors around him advised Yu Sang's parents to throw him away, but how could they give up the affection of their family? In this way, the family was together until he was 8 years old. That year, his father passed away, so Yu Sang had to go to the temple to work, earn some money and support himself.
In 1931, Yu Sang left his hometown and went to the rice shop in the town to be an apprentice. Here he came into contact with revolutionary ideas and understood that he was being exploited by the shop owner at this moment. After repeated consideration, he decided to join the Red Army team, which started his revolutionary career. In 1935, Yu Sang officially participated in the 25,000-mile Long March.
02 experiencing difficulties
As we all know, it is very difficult for ordinary soldiers to walk the Long March, let alone Yu Sang, who is inconvenient in legs and feet. When he followed the large army to pass through the grass , Yu Sang suffered from malaria . He was severely dehydrated and had no strength on his body, so he could not walk at all. Even so, Yu Sang still survived one hurdle after another with his tenacious will and belief in the revolution. In the end, he relied on his comrades to walk to northern Shaanxi with a little help.
In August 1936, Zhang Ran and Comrade Zhang needed a guard, so Yu Sang was transferred to him. Since then, he has begun to work with the guards, and has repeatedly cracked down on enemy intelligence during reconnaissance, annihilated bandits, and laid the foundation for future public security work. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Yu Sang followed the troops into Sichuan and Chongqing and served as the director of the Chongqing Public Security Bureau. As an important strategic city of the Kuomintang, Chongqing is still full of dangers, and many remaining enemies hidden underground are still damaging. During his tenure as the director of the Public Security Bureau, Yu Sang vigorously attacked the remnants of the Kuomintang, often traveling day and night in every corner of the city to collect intelligence, and cracked many cases of the Kuomintang's spy. The sensational Zhazidong and Baigongguan were also dealt with, releasing relevant personnel, and returning Chongqing to its former peace.
In 1955, Yu Sang was transferred to Beijing and served as the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Public Security in 1964. During this period, he participated in the formulation of many laws and regulations related to public security and traffic management in my country. During the special period, Yu Sang adhered to his beliefs and party spirit, and with the help of Premier Zhou, he protected a group of old revolutionary comrades from persecution. However, fighting on the front line will inevitably lead to an impact. He himself was also framed as a "black police" and forced him to frame the central leaders. But Yu Sang was unmoved at all and resolutely fought against the counter-revolution. No matter how he threatened and tempted him, he would not compromise and was eventually sent to the countryside to participate in labor reform.
In 1976, the Party Central Committee rehabilitated Yu Sang, and he returned to his leadership position. In the following days, Yu Sang continued to work on the public security trunk line and made great contributions to maintaining social security and stability and harmony. Yu Sang died in 2008 at the age of 91.
03 Struggle depends on oneself
As an older generation revolutionary, Yu Sang is as indifferent to fame and fortune as many people. He always teaches his six children to be self-reliant and self-reliant, and don’t think that they can do special things. They rely on themselves in everything. Dad will not use his power to find a job for you. Under the influence of this environment, the children are also very sensible and find a way out. None of them needs their father to worry about them, and no one enters the public security system to work.

They strive to be loyal to the facts, have purity in their hearts, and devote their lives with unswerving beliefs. Comrade Yu Sang used his own performance to show everyone the tenacity of a Communist Party member.
