The life of cheating starts with the lottery
On April 1, 1999, Xu Fei, who had just joined the army for more than a year, and his comrades stepped onto the battlefield to subdue the fire demons as usual. Just as he and his comrades were preparing to launch an internal attack on the closed fire, the building that was burning suddenly collapsed, and he and five comrades were instantly thrown off the floor more than 4 meters high. According to regulations, a sixth-level disabled person like Xu Fei can retire from illness and enjoy national preferential treatment. Under the organization's arrangement, Xu Fei, who recovered from injury, entered Kunming Fire Command College to study. After graduating in 2003, he took the initiative to apply to return to the company he had fought for for three years. Just as life and work returned to normal, a water rescue almost ended Xu Fei's fire fighting career.
It was August 2005. In order to find a child who fell into the water, Xu Fei led his comrades to search and rescue the waters for more than 6 hours. Due to long-term soaking in water, Xu Fei's right leg, which had been comminuted fractures, had redness and swelling, and he began to have inexplicably high fever. After seeking medical treatment from multiple sources, he was diagnosed with chronic osteomyelitis at Beijing 301 Hospital.
Although the condition was temporarily suppressed after one month of bone scraping, bone removal and repeated antibiotic rinsing 24 hours a day, the doctor said that the disease cannot be completely cured. The osteomyelitis that occurred from time to time in the future made Xu Fei suffer more of the pain. The person was discharged from the hospital, but Xu Fei's physical condition could no longer support him to continue fighting on the front line of fire fighting and rescue.
"If I can't pick up the water gun, I will use my feet to measure the fire scene; if I can't cross the high wall, I will use my eyes to investigate the fire scene." Xu Fei made another choice, and he took the initiative to ask for the fire adjustment team with a strong professional and harsh working environment to do fire investigation.
