Due to the influence of the international policy, the number of international students who were granted residence but did not enter the country by the end of last year reached 150,000. Therefore, the plan to set up separate admission quotas for international students has also been discussed.
However, according to relevant personnel: "With the current quarantine capacity of the airport, it is difficult to set up separate quotas for international students, so we finally adopted the policy of relaxing the overall entry limit to meet the demand of international students waiting to enter the country."
