Ah Sang, formerly known as " Huang Yanlin ", was born on February 28, 1975 in Yunlin County, Taiwan Province, and is a female pop singer in Taiwan, China. At 8:30 a.m. on April 6, 2009, Ah Sang died of breast cancer at the Tzu Chi Hospital in Xindian District, New Taipei City, at the age of 34.

In 2003, Ah Sang officially debuted in the music scene by singing the ending song "Leaves" of the idol drama "The Love of Roses". "Leaves" became popular in the streets.

In the same year, Ah Sang was also nominated for the Best New Singer Award at the 15th Taiwan Golden Melody Awards for his first solo album "A Little Hurt". In 2005, Asang released his second album " Lonely Singing ". Her songs such as "Loneliness Sings" and "Always Quiet" are regarded as classics by many fans.

In 2006, Ah Sang shifted his career focus to the development of the mainland. In the same year, he participated as a contestant in the variety show " is famous " organized by Hunan Satellite TV.

In 2007, Asan was diagnosed with lymphoma. Because she was passionate about her singing career, she never received treatment. In October 2008, the cancer cells in Asan's body worsened and spread to , late-stage breast cancer , and she later died of the disease.

Ah Sang's farewell ceremony was held at the Banqiao Funeral Home in Taipei City on April 26, 2009. Some of Ah Sang's former friends attended the farewell ceremony.

At the farewell ceremony that day, a floral master from Japan arranged many flowers in the shape of butterflies and surrounded Assan’s mourning hall. It is hoped that Ah Sang "can fly freely like a colorful butterfly in heaven, warm and romantic, just like Ah Sang hoped before his death, not sad or heavy."

Ah Sang’s friend JS gave her a special gift - a small recording studio. May she continue to sing in heaven.

Asang was cremated and laid to rest at the Wanli Tianxiang Pagoda in Wanli Township, Taipei County.

In 2011, Ah Sang's unpublished posthumous work "Pisces Woman" was finally released as the ending theme of the costume drama "Bao Qingtian: The Heart of the Blue Blood".
