In order to further promote the "100-day operation" of summer public security crackdown, the Baiju Road Police Station of Chaoyang District Branch of the Changchun Municipal Public Security Bureau severely cracked down on illegal and criminal activities and resolutely protected the safety of people's property. Recently, a "car door pulling" theft case was quickly solved within 24 hours, and a suspect was captured.
html At about 14:00 on September 12, the Baiju Road Police Station received a call from a resident in the area. The property in his car was stolen, and 6,000 yuan in cash from the trunk was missing. The police rushed to the scene and found that there were no signs of damage to the vehicle. By accessing surrounding surveillance videos, they found that the victim parked the car on the side of the road at about 16:00 on the 10th and left without locking the door. At about 2 a.m. the next day, a man on a bicycle lingered beside the car and opened the door when no one was around to commit theft. After investigating and analyzing the surveillance video along the road, the police quickly identified the suspect's whereabouts. Sheriff Wang Qi led police officers Diao Yiming, auxiliary police officers Shao Xin, and Yan Yongkun to guard the area around the hotel where he lived, and successfully arrested the suspect from a certain location.
After interrogation, the criminal suspect confessed to the crime of stealing property in the car. At present, the criminal suspect has been subject to criminal coercive measures in accordance with the law. The case is under further processing.
