In 960 AD, the generals of the Later Zhou Dynasty launched the "Chenqiao Mutiny" and supported Zhao Kuangyin, who was checking in front of the palace , to ascend the throne and establish the Song Dynasty. Before Zhao Kuangyin came to the throne, he established good relations with various generals in the army and became brothers with nine of them, known as the "Ten Brothers of Yishe" ( Yang Guangyi, Shi Shouxin, Li Jixun, Wang Shenqi, Liu Qingyi, Liu Shouzhong, Liu Tingrang, Han Chongyun, Wang Zhengzhong). They later became the most important force in the Chenqiao mutiny. So what happened to his nine sworn brothers after Zhao Kuangyin came to the throne? Let's take a look.

Li Jixun, one of the "Ten Brothers of the Righteous Society" of Song Taizu. After the establishment of the Song Dynasty, Li Jixun was granted the title of Grand Lieutenant of the Military Academy and the military governor of the Zhaoyi Army. Later, he attacked the Northern Han Dynasty from Taizu and defeated the Khitan and Taiyuan troops under the city. The first year of Taiping Xingguo (976), Shizhong, Tongping Zhangshi, and Prince Taishi Li Jixun requested to retire due to illness. Song Taizong gave him tens of millions of money and ten thousand taels of platinum. Li Jixun died in the autumn of the same year at the age of sixty-two. He was posthumously granted the title of "Zhongshu Ling", and was posthumously named King of Longxi County with the posthumous title of "Zhuang Wu".

Wang Shenqi, also known as Zhongbao, was a general in the early Northern Song Dynasty and one of the "Ten Brothers of the Righteous Society" of Song Taizu. After the establishment of the Song Dynasty, Wang Shenqi served as the commander of the capital in front of the palace and the military governor of Taining. Later, he conquered Li Jun and Li Chongjin from Song Taizu, and made outstanding military exploits. In the second year of Jianlong (961), after Taizu released his military power with a cup of wine, Wang Shenqi was appointed as the Jiedu Envoy of the Zhongzheng Army. In the seventh year of Kaibao's reign (974), Wang Shenqi passed away at the age of fifty. Posthumously presented to Zhongshu Ling and Langya County Prince. Later, he was granted the title of King Qin, with the posthumous title of "Zhengyi".
Liu Tingrang, a native of Zhuozhou, Hebei Province, was one of the "Ten Brothers of the Righteous Society" of Taizu of the Song Dynasty. During the reign of Taizu of the later Zhou Dynasty, he was appointed as the commander of the right wing of the bodyguard Si Longjie. After the establishment of the Song Dynasty, Liu Tingrang was appointed as the Commander-in-Chief of the Guards and Horse Army and the Military Envoy of Ningjiang Army. Later, General Cao Bin returned to the state and went up the river to attack Hou Shu. He captured Kuizhou, an important Jiang defense town, and defeated Hou Shu's defense hub in eastern Sichuan. In the sixth year of Kaibao's reign (973), Liu Tingrang was dismissed from his military post and became the military envoy of Zhenning Army. Later, Liu Tingrang was defeated in the battle with the Liao army due to the lack of reinforcements. He was dismissed as Jiedushi and was promoted to General You Xiaowei. In 987 AD, Liu Tingrang, who left the government without permission, was deprived of his official title by Taizong and assigned to Shangzhou. Liu Tingrang died on a hunger strike during the demotion and was given to the Taishi.

Han Chongyun , one of the "Ten Brothers of the Righteous Society" of Song Taizu. When Zhao Kuangyin launched the Chenqiao mutiny to establish the Song Dynasty, Han Chongyun participated in the mutiny, "dedicated his merits", and was promoted to the captain of the left wing of Longjie and the defense envoy of Yongzhou. Later, he served as the commander of the capital in front of the palace and the military commander of the Yicheng Army. Han Chongyun repeatedly shouldered important responsibilities and was jealous of others. At that time, people ridiculed Chongyun for taking his own soldiers as their own, which aroused the suspicion of Taizu. Later, he was dismissed from his military post and became the military envoy of Zhangde Army. He died in the seventh year of Kaibao's reign (974) and was presented to the attendant.
Shi Shouxin, a famous general in the Northern Song Dynasty, one of the "Ten Brothers of the Righteous Society" of Song Taizu. After the establishment of the Northern Song Dynasty, Shi Shouxin led his army to quell the rebellion of Li Jun and Li Chongjin, and served as the deputy commander of the Ma Bu Army and the commander of the Ma Bu Du of the bodyguard. In September of the third year of Jianlong's reign (962), he wrote a letter requesting that he be exempted from military power and appointed as the governor of the Tianping Army. After that, he devoted himself to amassing money and accumulated a fortune of tens of millions. During the Taizong period of the Song Dynasty, Shi Shouxin accompanied the Liao Dynasty in the conquests and was granted the title of Duke of Wei. In June of the ninth year of the Taiping Xingguo reign (984), Shi Shouxin passed away at the age of fifty-seven. He was posthumously granted the title of "Wu Lie" as the Prince of Wei.

Yang Guangyi, Liu Qingyi, Liu Shouzhong, and Wang Zhengzhong among Zhao Kuangyin's "Ten Brothers of Yishe" are unknown in historical records. They were not reused after the establishment of the Song Dynasty because they were not closely related to Taizu. Li You recorded at the time of the two Song dynasties: " Taizu Yishe brothers, Baojing Army Jiedushi Yang Guangyi, Tianping Army Jiedushi, Tongping Zhangshi and Zhongshu Ling, Zhaoyi Army Jiedushi and Tongping Zhangshi and Zhongshu Ling Li Jixun , Wang Shenqi, the king of Qin, Liu Qingyi, the military governor of the Zhongyuan Army, Liu Shouzhong, the general of the left Xiaowei, Liu Tingrang, the general of the right Xiaowei, Han Chongbin (Yun), the military commander of the Zhangde Army, and Wang Zhengzhong, the governor of Jiezhou."
