Case Review
Things will start from April 2, 2021. On the afternoon of that day, a man ran into the duty hall of Longzhou Police Station of Longyou County Public Security Bureau and gestured to the policeman on duty Wang Xin, who was very excited. Wang Xin found that the person who called the police was a little special, so she found paper and pen to ask the man to write down the matter and communicated it through an hour of writing. It turned out that the man's surname was Lü. Many years ago, he was introduced by a friend and met a man named Zhao. Zhao said that a boss was investing in the construction of a dragon chair furniture project with gold inlaid. There is currently a shortage of funds. If you have an investment intention, you can get ten times the profit after the project is completed. In the end, Lu believed it under Zhao's "sweet words". In three years, he invested more than 3 million yuan, but the other party did not fulfill his promise afterwards, and Lu found out that he was cheated. After the incident, the local provincial, municipal and county levels attached great importance to it. The Criminal Investigation Detachment of Quzhou Municipal Bureau, together with the Longyou County Public Security Bureau, selected elite police forces to form a special task force to carry out investigation. After careful investigation, the identities of the suspects Zhao and Zhang were quickly determined.

On April 8, the task force rushed to Fujian to carry out the arrest, "This time on a business trip, everyone was determined to seek justice for the victim." Before leaving, the police kept the suspect's appearance in their hearts. I only realized how difficult it is to find them when I got to the local area. There are hundreds of families who live in a community, not including people like Zhao and Zhang. Although there is no detailed information about tenants, the sky is vast. After two days and two nights of waiting, at around 7 a.m. on the 10th, the police successfully arrested Zhao and Zhang who were about to go out. Through the interrogation of the suspect and the analysis of the funds involved in the case, it was found that the suspect used more than one bank account, and he also used three or four different account opening accounts and often borrowed other people's bank accounts. After traveling to China Construction Bank , Agricultural Bank of China and other banks in five provinces including Anhui, Heilongjiang, Liaoning, etc., he collated the bank statements with the victims face to face with the victims of bank statements, , WeChat, Alipay and other third-party payment platforms. A criminal gang that specializes in fraud against the victims of deaf and mute people faintly surfaced. Under the careful deployment of the task force, on May 23, Wang, the previous family, was arrested in his hometown of Heilongjiang.
In August 2021, the case was listed as a supervised case by the Ministry of Public Security. In order to expand clues to find potential victims, the task force relies on the suspect's funds to track the whereabouts of funds upwards and trace the source of funds downwards. Through analysis and screening, 39 victims fell into the same trap were sorted out, all of whom were deaf and mute, and they came from 8 provinces and 13 cities across the country, including Shenyang, Liaoning, Yancheng, Jiangsu, Xianyang, Shaanxi, and Quzhou, Zhejiang.

After hearing the news, the victim rushed to the police station. The organizer Wang Xin and the victim made gestures. It turned out that during the communication with the deaf and mute, Wang Xin devoted himself to learning sign language, and through paper communication, they cooperated with simple sign language to ensure that they could understand the situation as soon as possible. In order to help the victim recover the losses, during the investigation, the task force found that the main culprit Wang had used fraudulent money to buy a lottery ticket and won 14.5 million yuan, but the prize had long been transferred by his girlfriend Meng, and refused to admit that the purchase of the prize was purchased by Wang. In order to find out the facts, the task force rushed to Heilongjiang three times. After multiple parties' evidence collection and verification, on June 23, 13 million yuan was frozen in accordance with the law. At the moment of successful freezing, Wang Xin and his colleagues admitted that "I can't remember how many nights I have been, but all the hard work is worth it." Now there are more than 100 pages of paper records piled on the desk, and the case files investigated are more than one meter high.

On August 9, 2022, the People's Court of Longyou County, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province publicly heard and pronounced the case of a deaf-mute person being defrauded in court. Three criminals were sentenced to more than 10 years in prison for committing fraud, and more than 12.5 million yuan in stolen money was fully recovered.
On that day, the group in the trial court was a bit special. In addition to the police and jurors, there were more than a dozen deaf-mute people. When the police typed the words "Judgment is confirmed and the money is recovered" into the text message input box on the mobile phone and showed it to the deaf-mute people, they kept gesticulating to the police to express their excitement and gratitude.
