When he used to work from 9 to 5, he worked part-time talk show, even though he went to the company every day, he didn't have any visible output, but he knew what he had done and felt at ease. But talk show creation is different from clocking in to work. There are often situations where you think about it for a day but can’t write anything, which makes him feel panicked. When would I be idle and I could write it well? This year, I seemed to have written everything I could write, and it would take me a while to write good jokes." This feeling made Qiu Rui frightened. He discussed and analyzed with his colleagues, believing that this feeling might be caused by the pressure of the competition. The competition is equivalent to giving a time point for the work to be delivered, which makes them have to take out the most convenient materials first. "It is equivalent to digging out the surrounding 'mines first, and then finding it will take more time. If you don't have that delivery time in your mind, you can go further and discover more new 'mines' in your creation."
For Qiu Rui, the "mines" created by talk show originate from some of the things in ordinary life he has experienced repeatedly, just like the anti-slip slippers he bought in three-nine yuan, the embarrassment he experienced in Haidilao as a "social terror", and the autumn pants sewn into the "inner" of jeans by his mother. "My perception ability is not particularly strong. I have to experience these things several times before I can write them out." This year, he also tried to experience life deliberately and followed his colleagues in the company to experience the work of NPC (referring to the non-player character in the game). As a result, after a whole day of experience, he did not write a joke. "I can't even play this kind of life with purpose, and I can't write it. I think my inspiration for writing jokes was not deliberately found, but was accidentally collided."
Qiu Rui and several other actors were talk show newcomers who participated in the Open Mai in Beijing at the same time, and they appeared on the stage of "Talk Show Conference". Qiu Rui said that part of the reason he participated in "Talk Show Conference 4" last year was because he was afraid of being thrown away by these friends who said he met on the talk show. He still has such fear when he participated in "Talk Show 5" again this year. "When I usually perform with them, they don't have the jokes in the show at all, and they only wrote them during the competition. I feel that everyone creates much faster than me. I spent a year preparing, and they spent three or four months comparing with my year of preparation, and it's not a big deal, which makes me very scared."
Qiu Rui said that what he presented on the stage of "Talk Show Conference" was only part of his thinking, and often he just showed the problem, did not give a solution, and did not even involve the reasons that troubled him. During the epidemic, he learned to cook with his mother and learned to play the piano with B station videos. He planned to return to Shanghai to sign up for a class after the end of "Talk Show 5". He even found friends to learn piano together. “I never learned piano. I played bands for a while in college and played guitar.But my musical feeling is not that good, and I sing out of tune. He used to think that learning to cook was a waste of time, but now he has become aware of the matter of "waste time".
