"Being possessed by a ghost, full of ghosts!" Goody Wu, a volunteer who often rescues stray cats and dogs, recently went to Wuzhi Mountain in Xizhi in New Taipei City. He originally wanted to rescue a female dog with only two hind legs, but he didn't see her. In the end, he did not take out the dog, but instead brought the whole ghost grass down the mountain, which made her smile helplessly, "The pants are going to be scrapped, and a bunch of ghosts that can't be pulled out."

"Ghost needle grass is really a problem we often face." Goody Wu said that in fact, some of the full ghost needle grass on the pants have been pulled out. In addition to the ghost needle grass, there is also a round and small (Editor's note: Tretus Grass) that is also super sticky. In the photo, Goody Wu was wearing black trousers and was covered with green thorns as thin as needles. It is not difficult to imagine the hard work of rescue volunteers running around in the mountains to save dogs.

Goody Wu said that the day was going to rescue a female dog with two hind legs. "My mother said that the dog has been there for at least 5 years. It was three years since she saw two legs broken. Because she broke two front legs, she walked and jumped... The remaining two legs still had to live in a harsh environment and had been having them all the time. It was very pitiful."
"I heard that the children it gave birth to have not survived." Goody Wu said sadly, "The weather is so cold now, it is difficult for it to take care of itself, how can it take care of the child?" Unfortunately, the dog was cautious by nature, "Ai Mom said it would appear very late, and she ran away as soon as she saw people. Although it was not fast, because it was a mountainous area, we couldn't find our eyesight at night, so we were still troubled by how to save it."

"The remaining 2 feet means it has been trapped twice, which may be a trap or a pig crane." Goody Wu pointed out that there are many broken-legged dogs in the two points of Xizhi Wuzhishan and Yangmingshan Zhuzihu . "My friend saved another one last week. The dog went to the dog last month, but it broke its feet last week. Almost all the dogs there are missing feet, you can imagine how many traps there are."

Every time you see such a scene, Goody Wu feels very heartbroken. "If you go with us, you will really be angry and want to cry. It is very hard to jump in the mountains." In the past few days, it has been raining and fogging on Wuzhi Mountain, and it is difficult to rescue. "I have been thinking about those two legs. When the weather gets better, see if we can ambush at night."
According to Article 14-1 of the Animal Protection Law, catching animals is prohibited without permission from the competent authority. Those who use the methods specified in the preceding paragraphs to capture animals without permission shall be excluded or demolished and destroyed. The land owner, user or manager shall not evade, obstruct or refuse.
