
Recently, the shortlist of the 12th China Folk Art Peony Awards National Folk Art Competition was announced, and 4 works in Changzi County were shortlisted.
The eldest son drum book "Old House" created by Guo Rongxian and performed by Song Gailan was shortlisted for the "Literature Award" and "Performance Award" of the 12th China Folk Art Peony Award; the eldest son drum book "Moon to Mid-Autumn Festival" performed by Zhang Hua and Ma Wenping was shortlisted for the "Program Award" of the 12th China Folk Art Peony Award; the eldest son drum book "Black Haircut" created by Guo Rongxian and performed by Guo Suqin was shortlisted for the "Program Award" and "Performance Award" of the 12th China Folk Art Peony Award; the "Hot Blood Monument to the River and Mountains" created by Guo Rongxian and performed by Li Xianling was shortlisted for the "Performance Award" of the 12th China Folk Art Peony Award.
It is understood that the Chinese Folk Art Peony Award is a national Folk Art Professional Award co-organized by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the China Folk Art Association. It is selected every two years and is the highest award in the folk art world. The 12th China Folk Art Peony Award National Folk Art Competition has set up 4 sub-districts, namely the Hefei competition zone in Anhui (three-book crosstalk and sketch), the Changzhi competition zone in Shanxi (northern drum music singing program), the Linping competition zone in Zhejiang (southern drum music singing program) and the Jinshan competition zone in Shanghai (pingtan funny program).
